Your access to and use of rstream is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use our service.

Information We Collect

When you use the rstream administration interface, we collect the following information:

• Email Address: Required for account creation, communication, and integration with our payment partner, Stripe.
• Name and Surname: Optional, used for personalizing your experience and shared with Stripe when processing subscriptions.
• Profile Image URL: If you log in using a Single Sign-On (SSO) service, we collect the URL of your profile image from the SSO provider to enhance your user experience on our platform.

While using rstream's CLI or during incoming connections, we collect data necessary for the normal operation of the service:

• Client Data: IP addresses associated with CLI users, version number, operating system, and hardware architecture.
• Connection Data: IP addresses, connection times, duration, data usage, and bandwidth.

Additionally, for HTTP tunnels, rstream records HTTP request and response data.

To facilitate subscription payments and manage billing, rstream has partnered with Stripe. As part of this partnership we share your name and email address with Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

Cookies

rstream uses essential cookies for authentication purposes only. These session cookies are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the website and are not used for tracking purposes or shared with third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

Our data retention and deletion policies are designed to respect your privacy while complying with legal obligations:

• Data Retention: Personal data is retained for 1 year or until you choose to delete your account. This timeframe ensures that we can provide continuous and effective service to you.
• Account Deletion: You have the option to delete your account from the dashboard. Upon deletion, all personal data, except for billing history, is permanently removed. Billing history is retained for legal purposes and compliance with financial regulations.
• Data Archive Request: If you wish to receive an archive of all your data held by rstream, you can make a request by contacting our support team at support@rstream.com. We are committed to providing this information in a timely and transparent manner.

Use of Data

The data we collect are used in various ways, including to provide and maintain our service, notify you about changes, provide customer support, improve our service, monitor usage, and address technical issues.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to computers located outside of your state, province, or country where data protection laws may differ. Persistent storage is located within the EU, while non-persistent storage may be used outside the EU but data is retained only for the duration of the connection.
