Thank you for using rstream. These Terms and Conditions describe the rules that apply to your access to and use of rstream’s services, including the website, dashboard, CLI, and related features (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Your access to and use of rstream are conditioned on your acceptance of, and compliance with, these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Services.

License Grant

rstream grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms. This license exists only to allow you to use the Services as provided by rstream and only in the manner permitted by these Terms.

Account Requirement

To access certain features of rstream, you must register for an account. rstream uses authentication tokens for account authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your tokens, because they are private credentials and are not intended to be shared. If you believe a token has been compromised, you should rotate or delete it through your dashboard.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including laws relating to copyright, data protection, and online conduct. You are also responsible for understanding and complying with any local rules that may apply to your use of rstream and for any content, data, or systems you expose through tunnels or remote access features.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. This means, among other things, that you must not use rstream to transmit or make available unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate content, and you must not infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or other proprietary rights. You must not introduce malicious code such as viruses, worms, or other harmful software, and you must not attempt to collect personal information about other users or send unsolicited communications. You must not interfere with or attempt to circumvent the security features of the Services or any related website, service, or network.

You also agree not to take actions that could harm the Service, other users, or the general operation of rstream. This includes attempts to disrupt or overload rstream infrastructure, including through denial-of-service techniques, attempts to damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Services, and attempts to interfere with or inhibit other users from fully enjoying the Services.

Reverse Engineering and Competition Restriction

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms of the Services, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law. You may not use the Services to develop a competing product or service, or to copy any features, functions, or graphics of the Services.

Some components of rstream may be released under separate licenses. Those components are governed by their respective licenses, and nothing in these Terms limits any rights granted to you under those licenses.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in rstream are proprietary to rstream or its affiliates and licensors. The content on rstream, including text, graphics, logos, images, and their compilation, as well as any software used to provide the Services, is owned by rstream or its suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Warranty Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. rstream and its suppliers and licensors disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rstream and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of rstream are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France and applicable European Union regulations and directives. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of rstream shall be brought exclusively in the courts of France, and you and rstream agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Termination of Use

rstream may terminate or suspend your account or access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, at rstream’s sole discretion, including where rstream believes you have violated these Terms or where continued access could create risk to the Service, other users, or third parties.

Modifications to Terms

rstream may modify these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
